About The Illinois Warrior Assistance Program
The Illinois Warrior Assistance Program (IWAP) provides confidential assistance for returning Illinois veterans as they transition back to daily life after serving our country.
IWAP is a free and confidential resource provided by the State of Illinois. It is not connected to the U.S. Armed Forces or the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in any way.

Our goal is to help service members and their families deal with the emotional challenges they may be facing, especially when dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) symptoms.
IWAP services are provided by Magellan Health Services, a nationally recognized leader in mental health and wellness.
